The Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées 2019 expresses the clay-limestone soils of Vosne-Romanée. Aged in barrels (50% new), it combines dark fruits, spices and minerality. Silky palate, precise freshness. Perfect through 2035 with roasted meats or cheeses.

Tasting notes for Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées 2019
To the eye: Intense purple robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry, violet and liquorice, followed by a hint of undergrowth and a subtle chalky minerality.
On the palate: A velvety attack, lively acidity and fine tannins, carried by a saline tension that extends into a remarkably long finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
