Taken over in 1993 by Stéphane Moreau and his wife Virginie, this reference Burgundian family estate, which was once a supplier of grapes for négociants, has enjoyed a remarkable rise thanks to Stéphane Moreau (who passed away suddenly in August 2016), who established a style comparable to the two iconic estates of Chablis: Dauvissat and Raveneau. Today, Virginie continues the activity of the Moreau Naudet estate, offering wines in keeping with the style they produced in the past.

Located in Chablis, the Moreau Naudet estate extends over an area of 22.5 hectares exclusively planted with Chardonnay grape variety. The vines are on average thirty years old and are carefully cultivated without insecticide or anti-rot treatments. The harvest is both manual and mechanical. The grapes from the Moreau Naudet estate are harvested at perfect maturity. The aging process is long and takes place in vats, barrels and demi-muids with light filtrations, rendering the Moreau Naudet wines beautifully complex with a lovely structure. The Domaine Moreau Naudet produces wines from the Chablis appellations, Chablis 1^er Cru Forêt, Chablis 1^er Cru Montmains, Chablis 1^er Cru Vaillons and Petit Chablis, as well as Chablis Grand cru. The Chablis 1^er Cru Forêt offers dense and spicy flavors with good aging potential; the Chablis 1^er Cru Vaillons is endowed with beautiful energy, and finally the Chablis 1^er Cru Montmains offers qualitative and intense bitterness.
