The Ramonet Bâtard-Montrachet 2005, from the clay-limestone terroirs of Côte de Beaune, is a white wine made from Chardonnay aged in barrels. Notes of yellow fruits, butter and chalky minerality. A balanced, fresh and lingering palate. Perfect with foie gras or noble fish until 2030.
A family estate rooted in the great wines of Burgundy, where tradition meets exacting standards for nearly a century.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet appellations, where Chardonnay reveals its minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Aged in oak barrels, respecting natural cycles and seeking a pure expression of the grape variety.
Tasting notes for Domaine Ramonet Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2005
To the eye – Golden robe with green highlights, of a silky and luminous density, heralding a rich and precise texture.
On the nose – Aromas of white flowers and candied citrus, followed by notes of roasted hazelnut, acacia honey and a saline touch, like a breath of wind over the limestone hillsides.
On the palate – Unctuous yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long and saline finish where yellow fruits and gentle spices intertwine.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
