The Bonnes-Mares 2005 from Domaine Arlaud, sourced from Chambolle-Musigny, is a biodynamic Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels. Notes of red fruits, spices, and chalky minerality. Silky palate, melted tannins, elegant finish. To enjoy until 2030 with game or roast duck.
Nestled in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence for three generations. A quest for purity, guided by respect for living things and exceptional terroirs.
- Terroir : 15 hectares in the Côte de Nuits, on clay-limestone soils where the great crus are born – Bonnes-Mares, Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche.
- Vinification : Certified biodynamic farming, natural fermentations in wooden vats, patient aging in barrels to reveal the chalky minerality of the Pinot Noir.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Arlaud Bonnes-Mares 2005
To the eye – A deep garnet robe with russet highlights, of silky density where light dances on slow, generous legs.
On the nose – First, a fruity freshness of wild blueberry and morello cherry, then deeper notes of licorice and cinnamon, before a saline touch underlines the chalky minerality of the terroir.
On the palate – A velvety yet taut texture, where lively acidity meets melted tannins, while a chalky salinity carries a remarkably long finish, leaving an impression of dark fruits and gentle spices.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its complex aromas.

- Aging potential : Best cellared for another decade in a cool (12–14°C), humid environment, away from vibrations.
