Domaine Arlaud presents this Bonnes Mares 2014, a grand cru from the Côte de Nuits. Crafted from biodynamic Pinot Noir, it combines dark fruits, spices and a precise minerality. Its well-balanced palate pairs beautifully with meats and cheeses through to 2030.
A family estate rooted in the Côte de Nuits, where Burgundian heritage blends with a quest for authenticity.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Grands Crus of Morey-Saint-Denis, shaping wines of chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: Biodynamic approach, hand harvesting and gravity-fed vinification to preserve the purity of the Pinot Noir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Arlaud Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2014
To the eye: Deep purple robe with garnet reflections, of a silky texture and promising density.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black cherry, wild blackberry, sweet liquorice and a hint of damp undergrowth, lifted by a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate: Velvety attack, fine and tight tannins, lively and balanced acidity, long and spicy finish with notes of black pepper and cocoa.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
2014 Vintage
A vintage marked by optimal ripeness and preserved freshness, offering a perfect balance between structure and finesse.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C), away from light.
