Arnaud Ente Volnay 1er Cru Santenots du Milieu 2019: a Pinot Noir from Burgundy, born on the clay-limestone hillsides of Volnay. Aged in barrels, it captivates with its notes of cherry, spice and flowers. Silky, mineral and taut on the palate. Perfect until 2030 with game or cheese.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Arnaud Ente Volnay 1er Cru Santenots du Milieu 2019
To the eye: A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: First, aromas of black cherry and fresh raspberry, followed by notes of violet and liquorice, before a mineral touch reminiscent of the damp chalk of the Burgundian hillsides.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, where the taut acidity meets a fleshy and chalky texture, leading to a long and saline finish, marked by tannins of remarkable finesse.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2019
A generous and balanced vintage, where the summer heat ripened the grapes without altering their freshness, yielding wines that are both structured and elegant.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12-14°C) and away from light.
