The Bart Bonnes-Mares 2023, Grand Cru de Bourgogne, is born on clay-limestone soils. This Pinot Noir, with 30% whole clusters, combines ripe red fruits and peppery notes with a taut structure. Aged in barrels, it can be enjoyed from 2030 onwards with red meats or aged cheeses.
Anchored at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Bart perpetuates a family heritage where precision and respect for the terroir guide each vintage.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Grand Cru Bonnes-Mares, where Pinot Noir draws its minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Aged in oak barrels, with a touch of whole clusters for an elegant tension and a silky structure.
To the eye: Intense purple robe with garnet highlights, of a velvety density and a chalky brilliance.
On the nose: Freshness of morello cherry and crunchy raspberry, evolving towards notes of violet and liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of black pepper.
On the palate: A silky attack, supported by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long and taut finish where ripe fruits and soft spices intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
A vintage marked by a balanced maturity, where freshness and concentration combine to deliver a precise expression of the Grand Cru.
- Ageing potential: To be cellared until 2038 under optimal conditions (cool cellar, away from light and vibrations).
