Sourced from the Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru appellation, the Bonnes-Mares 2021 from Domaine Bart is a Pinot Noir aged 18 months in barrels. Nose of violet and dark fruits, a generous palate, silky tannins and chalky minerality. Perfect with game or a matured cheese through to 2031.
A family estate rooted in Marsannay-la-Côte, where Pinot Noir expresses itself with elegance on the Burgundian hillsides.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru appellation, in the Côte de Nuits – a cradle of minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Hand-harvested grapes, aged for 18 months in oak barrels for a precise structure and a faithful expression of the grape variety.
To the eye: Deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh violet, wild blackberry and black cherry, lifted by notes of liquorice, undergrowth and a discreet saline touch.
On the palate: Velvety attack, fine and tight tannins, mineral tension, long and chalky finish where red fruits and soft spices intertwine.
Serve between 14° and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
A vintage marked by a vibrant freshness, where the balance between ripeness and acidity gives birth to wines of great precision.
- Ageing potential: 10 years and more, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
