Tasting notes for Domaine Bart Bonnes-Mares 2016
Appearance: Deep purple with garnet highlights and a silky, luminous depth.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh blackcurrant and ripe wild berries, followed by notes of roasted espresso and bitter orange peel, lifted by a saline, mineral touch.
On the palate: A firm, precise entry, chalky tannins wrapped in a velvety texture, mineral tension, and a long finish with hints of black fruit and gentle spice.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
