Sourced from Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru, the Bonnes Mares 2021 from Domaine Bart is a Pinot Noir with aromas of violet and dark fruits. Aged in new barrels (40%), it combines a silky palate and a chalky minerality with an elegant finish. Perfect with red meats or aged cheeses.
A family estate rooted in Morey-Saint-Denis since 1850, Domaine Bart cultivates a Burgundian heritage in which precision and respect for the terroir guide every vintage.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru appellation, in the Côte de Nuits – a chalky geology that imparts minerality and tension to the wines.
- Vinification: Aged in barrels (40% new), hand-harvested with partial whole-bunch integration for a structure that is both silky and deep.
In the glass: Deep garnet red robe with dense, velvety and luminous reflections.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh violet, wild blackberry and black cherry, lifted by a touch of liquorice and a saline note reminiscent of the chalky soils of Morey-Saint-Denis.
On the palate: A silky attack, lively acidity and elegant tannins, carried by a chalky minerality; the finish, long and taut, leaves an impression of purity and complexity.
Serve between 14 and 16 °C in a Burgundy glass to release its nuances.
A vintage defined by vibrant freshness, where the tension and precision of the fruit combine with a well-balanced structure.
- Ageing potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14 °C) away from light.
