The Champagne Clandestin Les Semblables Boréal Brut Nature 2022, a Blanc de Noirs made from Pinot Noir, is born on the Kimmeridgian marls of Landreville. Spontaneously fermented and with no dosage, it reveals aromas of blackcurrant, citrus and wet stone. The palate, saline and lively, combines tension and chalky minerality. Perfect with oysters or grilled fish.
A bold estate founded in 2015 in Landreville, where Benoît Doussot reinvents Champagne in intimate dialogue with the terroir.
- Terroir: Côte des Bar, Kimmeridgian marls with chalky and calcareous soils, shaping wines of vibrant minerality and rare tension.
- Winemaking: Traditional method, spontaneous fermentation and barrel aging for pure, unadorned cuvées where fruit meets stone.
Tasting notes for the wine Clandestin Les Semblables Boréal Brut Nature 2022
To the eye – Pale golden-yellow robe, traversed by a fine and silky perlage, like a canvas of light on water.
On the nose – Aromas of fresh blackcurrant, crunchy red apple, juicy grapefruit and tangy lime, lifted by a saline touch of wet stone and a chalky, almost mineral freshness.
On the palate – A taut and precise texture, where lively acidity meets crunchy fruits and herbaceous nuances, before a saline and persistent finish of linear elegance.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a tapered Champagne flute to preserve its purity and effervescence.
