This Champagne Clandestin Les Passagers Haut de Val Barmont Brut Nature R23, a Blanc de Blancs from Landreville, reveals Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Aged in barrels, it combines mineral freshness and fine bubbles. To be enjoyed with cheeses or fish, from now or within 5 years.
A domain born from the encounter between Champagne tradition and modernity, rooted in the limestone hillsides of the Côte des Bar. A quest for authenticity where each cuvée reveals the soul of a terroir and the meticulous work of its winegrowers.
- Terroir : Kimmeridgian limestone soils of the Barséquannais, the cradle of a Chardonnay of vibrant minerality and characteristic tension.
- Winemaking : Aging in French oak barrels, natural fermentation and minimal dosage for wines of a crystalline purity, where the fruit dialogues with the rock.
Tasting notes for Clandestin Les Passagers Haut de Val Barmont Brut Nature R23
To the eye – A pale gold robe with green highlights, traversed by a thread of fine and persistent bubbles, like a lace of light on a chalky background.
On the nose – Aromas of apple blossom and lime blossom in a lively freshness, before giving way to notes of toasted hazelnut and flint, underlined by a saline touch evoking the breezes of the hillsides.
On the palate – A silky and taut texture unfolds, carried by a precise acidity and a limestone minerality that structures a long and saline finish, where the purity of the fruit and the depth of the terroir intertwine.
To be served between 8 and 10°C in a narrow champagne flute to preserve the finesse of the bubbles and concentrate the aromas.
