The Clos Fourtet 2008, Premier Grand Cru Classé B, is born on the limestone soils of Saint-Émilion. Dominated by Merlot, it reveals cherry, blackcurrant and liquorice after 18 months in barrels. Silky and mineral, it can be enjoyed until 2031 alongside rich dishes such as truffle or game.
On the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, this family estate embodies the excellence of a historic terroir, shaped by centuries of expertise.
- Terroir: 20 hectares in a single block on clay-limestone soils, at the heart of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, where the chalky minerality elevates the grape varieties.
- Vinification: Precise aging in new oak barrels, producing wines that are both powerful and silkily elegant, reflecting the purity of the terroir.
