Appearance: Deep garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky texture slightly veiled by the years.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry and candied black cherry, followed by a touch of liquorice and undergrowth, lifted by a subtle chalky note and a hint of salinity.
On the palate: Velvety attack, integrated but still present tannins, a lively acidity that carries a discreet minerality and a long finish marked by soft spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to enhance its complexity.
