The Domaine des Tours Merlot 2004, born in Sarrians in the Rhône Valley, is a rare cuvée of Merlot on clay-limestone soils. This Vin de Pays de Vaucluse seduces with its notes of dark fruits, leather and garrigue, and a velvety palate. Perfect with duck breast or aged cheese.

Nestled in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, this family estate embodies the heritage of viticulture respectful of the terroir, shaped by the Reynaud family for nearly a century.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of Sarrians, bathed by the Mediterranean climate – a setting for wines of rare precision.
- Vinification: Biodynamic methods, late harvest and aging in barrels for cuvées of a natural elegance.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine des Tours Merlot 2004
To the eye: Garnet robe with tiled reflections, of a silky density where light dances with a mineral subtlety.
On the nose: Aromas of dried cherries intertwine with notes of blonde tobacco, patinated leather and garrigue, lifted by a saline and earthy touch.
On the palate: Velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and harmonious finish where gentle spices and undergrowth intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A fresh and classic vintage, where the maturity of the tannins combines with a preserved freshness, offering today a wine at its peak.
- Aging potential: Drink now, or cellar for another 5 to 10 years in a cool and humid cellar.
