Nestled in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, this family estate embodies the demands of an exceptional terroir, shaped by four generations of expertise.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and rounded pebbles from Sarrians, under the IGP Vaucluse appellation, where the Mediterranean climate enhances the ripeness of the grapes.
- Vinification: Natural and sparing approach, favoring the pure expression of the grape varieties and an elegance without artifice.
Tasting notes for the wine domaine des Tours 2012
To the eye: Ruby red robe with brick-red hints, of a silky brilliance and a chalky density, already revealing the complexity of the vintage.
On the nose: Freshness of violet and overripe strawberry, evolving toward deeper notes of blackcurrant, damp earth and soft spices, lifted by a subtle saline touch.
On the palate: Ample and velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a stony minerality, while the supple tannins stretch into a peppery and persistent finish.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to fully release its aromas.
