From the clay-limestone hillsides of Vosne-Romanée, the Domaine Leroy Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts 2014 is a Pinot Noir of great finesse. To the eye: Deep garnet robe with ruby highlights, of a silky texture and velvety density.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and fresh morello cherry, followed by hints of undergrowth, liquorice and a mineral touch evoking flint stone.
On the palate: A precise and taut attack, where lively acidity, filigree tannins and a saline minerality intertwine, leading to a long and elegant finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
