The Clos de la Roche 2015 from Domaine Leroy, a Grand Cru from Burgundy, is born on clay-limestone soils. This Pinot Noir, aged in barrels, captivates with its notes of dark fruits, spices and flowers. The palate, silky and mineral, promises a cellaring potential of 15–20 years. Perfect with red meats and truffles.
Nestled in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Leroy embodies the exacting standards of a Burgundian heritage passed on with passion.
- Terroir: limestone and marl soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of the most prestigious Grand Crus, where Pinot Noir reveals its full complexity.
- Vinification: a rigorous biodynamic approach, where every gesture honours the purity of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Leroy Clos de la Roche 2015
To the eye: a deep red robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: aromas of fresh black cherry, wild violet and liquorice, lifted by a touch of damp undergrowth and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a taut minerality, stretching into a long and precise finish, marked by notes of truffle and gentle spices.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its full elegance.
Vintage 2015
A generous vintage, where summer heat ripened the grapes without altering their freshness, offering a rare balance between power and finesse.
- Aging potential: 20 to 25 years, to be kept under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
