The Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots 1985 from Domaine François Lamarche, from the Les Suchots climat, is a Pinot Noir with aromas of red fruits and spices. Its silky texture and minerality make it a harmonious wine, ideal to complement a roasted pigeon or a selection of aged cheeses.

Since 1797, this family estate has embodied the excellence of the wines of Vosne-Romanée, combining Burgundian tradition and viticultural precision.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of the most elegant Pinot Noir, where each parcel reveals a unique mineral identity.
- Vinification : Fruit-forward methods, barrel aging for a pure expression of the grape variety and terroir, without artifice.

In the glass – A garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density, betraying an accomplished maturity and a velvety structure.
On the nose – First aromas of candied black cherry, faded rose and damp undergrowth, then deeper notes of liquorice and wild mushroom, all underlined by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate – A rich yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a stony minerality, with a long and precise finish where gentle spices and melted tannins intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
