Sourced from the clay-limestone soils of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the 1er Cru Les Cras 2010 from Domaine François Lamarche is an organically grown, barrel-aged Pinot Noir. Dark fruits, spices and minerality intertwine in a silky, fresh palate. Perfect with roast or game, to be enjoyed through 2030.
Domaine François Lamarche
Heir to a two-hundred-year-old viticultural tradition in the Côte de Nuits, this family estate embodies the discreet elegance of the great wines of Burgundy.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marl soils of the Premiers Crus of Nuits-Saint-Georges, where Pinot Noir expresses a chalky minerality and a unique aromatic depth.
- Vinification: Fruit-respectful methods, barrel-aged for a silky structure and precise tension, without artifice.

Tasting notes for Domaine François Lamarche Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Cras 2010
To the eye: A garnet robe with tawny reflections, of a velvety density where light dances with a generous yet refined substance.
On the nose: Freshness of morello cherry and crunchy blackcurrant, evolving toward notes of damp undergrowth, soft liquorice and a saline touch reminiscent of the terroir's flint stones.
On the palate: A silky and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity that underscores a chalky minerality, leading to a long, spiced finish where dark fruits and toasted nuances intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2010
A vintage marked by optimal grape ripeness, combining concentration and freshness, ideal for lovers of age-worthy wines.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12-14°C) and away from light.
