Made in Courteron, Champagne Fleury Extra Brut 2010 blends biodynamically grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Aged in barrels and tanks, it reveals honey, citrus and toast with chalky minerality. Taut and elegant, it pairs beautifully with foie gras or can develop through 2033.
Champagne Fleury
A family-run house rooted in Courteron, in the Côte des Bar, Champagne Fleury has carried on a winemaking heritage shaped by biodynamics since 1895.
- Terroir: The clay-limestone soils of the Côte des Bar produce a fleshy Pinot Noir and vibrant Chardonnay, enhanced by viticulture that respects natural rhythms.
- Winemaking: Gentle pressing in a Coquard press, parcel-by-parcel aging in barrels and tanks, and extended aging on the lees bring out the terroir’s mineral purity.

Tasting notes for Champagne Fleury Extra Brut 2010
Appearance: Golden color with green highlights, a silky, lingering quality, like a veil of light across the glass.
Nose: Aromas of acacia honey, ripe sour cherry and toast, accented by a saline touch and a hint of candied citrus, all wrapped in chalky minerality.
Palate: A full, velvety opening, driven by lively acidity and mineral tension, leads to a remarkably long, spicy finish.
Serve at 8–10 °C in a slender champagne flute to preserve its freshness and effervescence.
2010 vintage
A vintage marked by generous ripeness, with cool nights preserving the balance and mineral tension characteristic of great champagnes from the Côte des Bar.
- Aging potential: Enjoy now or cellar for 5 to 10 years after disgorgement under optimal conditions, at a stable temperature and away from light.
