A family estate rooted in the legendary terroir of Pauillac, where exacting standards and tradition shape wines of timeless elegance.
- Terroir: 90 hectares of Garonne gravels, poor and well-drained soils, at the heart of the Pauillac appellation, the cradle of Bordeaux's great wines.
- Vinification: Precise blending, aging in oak barrels (80% new), with a focus on balance between power and finesse.
Tasting notes for Château Lynch-Bages Lynch Bages 2005
To the eye: a deep red robe with garnet reflections, of silky density and mineral brilliance.
On the nose: aromas of ripe blackcurrant, cedar, blond tobacco and liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate: a velvety texture, a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, supported by firm yet elegant tannins, leading to a long and precise finish.
Serving temperature: 16–18°C – Use a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full complexity.
