Domaine Peyre Rose
An estate rooted in the Languedoc hills, where patience and exacting standards shape wines of rare intensity.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and Mediterranean garrigue at an elevation of 220 meters, nurturing Syrah and Grenache of mineral depth.
- Winemaking: Controlled yields, hand harvesting and extended aging in tanks and partly in large oak casks, without fining or filtration.

Tasting notes for Domaine Peyre Rose Marlène N°3 2015
Appearance – A deep red color with dense, almost silky highlights, where light plays across chalky nuances.
Nose – Sun-drenched garrigue and candied black fruit mingle with a touch of eucalyptus and a saline hint of thyme, supported by subtle but persistent minerality.
Palate – A full, velvety texture supported by lively acidity and mineral tension, with powerful tannins balanced by a long, savory finish carrying hints of licorice and woodland floor.
Serve at 15–17 °C in a large red wine glass after decanting for an hour.
2015 vintage
A sun-filled vintage marked by perfect ripeness and rare concentration, with summer heat shaping remarkably elegant tannins.
- Aging potential: Enjoy through 2036, provided it is stored away from light and temperature fluctuations.
