Nestled in the heart of the Languedoc, this wine estate has embodied Marlène Soria’s exacting standards and passion since the 1990s. A pursuit of authenticity in which every cuvée celebrates the terroir of Saint-Pargoire.
- Terroir : Stony soils of the Coteaux du Languedoc, from which Syrah and Grenache draw their mineral character and depth.
- Winemaking : Artisanal and organic methods—partial destemming and long macerations—for wines that are both powerful and exceptionally elegant.
Tasting notes for Domaine Peyre Rose Clos des Cistes 2013
In the glass – Deep red with garnet highlights, dense and silky.
On the nose – Fresh blackberry and blackcurrant aromas give way to violet and licorice, before opening onto a mineral, almost saline touch.
On the palate – Fleshy yet precise, with fine tannins and lively acidity bringing tension and freshness. Chalky minerality lingers on the finish, alongside hints of black cherry and spice.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
