The Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos des Varoilles 2023, monopole of Domaine Prieuré Roch, comes from the clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits. This biodynamic Pinot Noir offers notes of cherry, spices and a chalky minerality. Fresh and silky, it pairs with meats and cheeses through 2030.

Nestled in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, this estate embodies the alliance of a Burgundian heritage and exceptional viticulture, guided by respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and monopole parcels, such as the Clos des Varoilles, shape wines of rare minerality and depth.
- Winemaking: A biologic and biodynamic approach (Triple A certification), prioritizing freshness, precision, and the pure expression of Pinot Noir.

- To the eye: A deep garnet red robe with a silky, luminous texture, heralding a substance that is both dense and elegant.

- On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by taut acidity and a chalky minerality, while silky tannins envelop a long, saline finish marked by enduring elegance.
