The Prieuré Roch Vin de France 2023 red Magnum, from Burgundy, expresses its clay-limestone soils. Aged with whole clusters, it reveals black fruits, spices and minerality. On the palate, suppleness and freshness combine for a cellaring potential of 5 to 8 years. Ideal with game or cheeses.
Prieuré Roch
A bold estate rooted in the Côte de Nuits, Prieuré Roch perpetuates a viticultural heritage where the precision of the terroir is in dialogue with a refined winemaking approach.
- Terroir: Biodynamic vineyards on the limestone and marl soils of Prémeaux-Prissey, Gevrey-Chambertin and Vosne-Romanée – a mineral foundation that sculpts the elegance of the cuvées.
- Winemaking: Natural methods, whole-cluster macerations and minimalist aging to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.

Tasting notes for Prieuré Roch Vin de France 2023 red Magnum
In the glass: A deep red robe with garnet highlights, of a silky texture and chalky density announcing a generous substance.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh black cherry, wild blackberry and violet, followed by a touch of licorice and a subtle mineral salinity recalling the limestone soils.
On the palate: Lively and precise attack, silky tannins enveloped by a taut acidity, long and saline finish where sweet spices and undergrowth notes intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
