The Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Beaux Bruns 2018 by Thibault Liger-Belair is born on limestone soils. This organic Pinot Noir, vinified with whole clusters and aged in barrels, combines red fruits, flowers and minerality in a silky palate. Ideal with red meats or cheeses, it can be cellared for 5 to 10 years.
Nestled in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges, this estate embodies the union of a Burgundian heritage and a resolutely contemporary approach. Founded in 2001, it combines respect for terroirs with viticultural precision, guided by an organic philosophy.
- Terroir : The vines thrive on the hillsides of the Côte de Nuits, where limestone and clay-limestone soils lend the wines a distinctive minerality and natural elegance.
- Vinification : A delicate approach — hand harvesting, gentle fermentations and aging in barrels — preserves the purity of the fruit while revealing the complexity of the grands crus.
Tasting notes for Thibault Liger-Belair Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Beaux Bruns 2018
To the eye – A garnet red robe with silky reflections and a luminous density.
On the nose – First aromas of morello cherry and peony, followed by a hint of tangy raspberry, then a depth of undergrowth and liquorice, all underscored by a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate – A smooth yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and precise finish where red fruits and soft spices intertwine.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full elegance.
