The Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Les Trois Terroirs 2016, signed by Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair, blends three limestone terroirs. This Pinot Noir offers notes of cherry and spices, a fresh and mineral palate. Perfect for 5 to 8 years of cellaring, it pairs beautifully with duck breast or mushrooms.
A family estate rooted in the hillsides of Nuits-Saint-Georges, where the demands of the terroir engage in dialogue with a winemaking of rare precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, where Pinot Noir draws a chalky minerality and vibrant freshness.
- Vinification: Aged in barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit, with an approach respectful of natural balance.
Tasting notes for Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Les Trois Terroirs 2016
To the eye: A ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous density.
On the nose: First notes of morello cherry and fresh raspberry, followed by a hint of violet and soft spices, before giving way to a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate: An elegant and taut texture, where lively acidity meets a chalky minerality, extended by a long and precise finish, carried by fine tannins.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
