Arlaud Chambolle-Musigny 2021 from Domaine Arlaud, born from the limestone soils of Chambolle-Musigny. This 2021 Pinot Noir, sourced from the La Buissière and Les Herbues plots, reveals aromas of red berries, violet and spices. On the palate, silky and mineral, it captivates with its freshness and tension. To be cellared for 5 to 8 years, pairing with game or aged cheeses.
Domaine Arlaud
A family estate anchored in Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Arlaud perpetuates a winemaking heritage where respect for the terroir takes precedence.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of Burgundy's great Pinot Noirs, crafting wines of mineral elegance.
- Vinification: A natural and precise approach, combining Burgundian tradition and biodynamic practices to reveal the purity of the fruit.
Tasting notes for Domaine Arlaud Chambolle-Musigny 2021
In the glass: A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh red berries – raspberry and wild strawberry – followed by floral notes of peony, then a spicy touch and a subtle chalky minerality.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, where the fruit unfolds with elegant tension, carried by a fine acidity and a long, persistent saline finish.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to enhance its complexity.
Vintage 2021
A vintage marked by freshness and balance, where the ripeness of the fruits combines with a beautiful mineral energy.
- Aging potential: 8 to 12 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
