The Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2021 from Domaine Bart, sourced from the clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, is a Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels (40% new). Red fruits, violet and spices intertwine in a silky, mineral palate. Perfect with game or cheese, it can be cellared for 5 to 15 years.
Rooted in Marsannay-la-Côte, this family estate perpetuates a Burgundian heritage where precision and respect for the terroir guide every vintage.
- Terroir: The vines of Bonnes-Mares, on the boundary between Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, draw their character from clay-limestone soils, blending chalky finesse with mineral depth.
- Vinification: Aged in French oak barrels, with a touch of whole-cluster fermentation and stems, for an expression that is both silky and structured.
To the eye: An intense ruby red robe, of velvety density, where the light dances with an almost liquid elegance.
On the nose: First black cherry and blackberry, fresh and juicy, then violet blossoms into delicate floral notes, before accents of undergrowth and a saline touch reveal the depth of the terroir.
On the palate: The texture is silky and enveloping, carried by a lively acidity that drives the wine towards a chalky minerality; the finish, long and precise, leaves an impression of ripe fruit and gentle spices.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
A vintage marked by freshness and tension, where the ripeness of the fruit is balanced by a vibrant acidity, revealing the full purity of Pinot Noir.
- Ageing potential: Store for 5 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12-14°C), away from light, for harmonious development.
