Bart Marsannay Les Longeroies 2023, born on the chalky soils of Marsannay. This Pinot Noir, aged in tanks, reveals notes of cherry and undergrowth. Lively and precise, it combines silkiness and minerality. Perfect with duck breast or cheeses, it can be cellared for 3 to 5 years.
A family estate rooted in Marsannay, where Pinot Noir expresses itself with understated elegance and a faithful reflection of the terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, where marls and white limestone sculpt wines of chalky minerality and characteristic tension.
- Vinification: Aged in oak barrels for a silky structure, without masking the purity of the fruit or the freshness of the terroir.
To the eye: A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a dense and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and morello cherry, lifted by notes of violet and liquorice, then a mineral touch reminiscent of damp chalk.
On the palate: A silky attack, lively acidity and precise tannins, carried by a saline minerality that stretches into a long and taut finish.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its aromas.
A vintage marked by a balanced maturity, where freshness and concentration respond to each other in harmony.
- Ageing potential: To be enjoyed now or cellared for 5 to 8 years in a cool and humid cellar.
