To the eye – A ruby robe with coppery highlights, of a silky density and crystalline clarity.
On the nose – Aromas of candied black cherry, aged cedar, blonde tobacco and undergrowth, lifted by a saline note and a hint of graphite.
On the palate – A velvety yet taut texture, where a lively acidity, chalky minerality and a long finish come together, carried by silky tannins and a touch of spice.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
