The Domaine de Chevalier 2016 Double Magnum, from the gravels of Pessac-Léognan, is a red wine of great precision. Aged in oak barrels, it reveals aromas of blackcurrant, spices and cedar. The palate, silky, combines fine tannins and mineral freshness. Perfect with red meats or cheeses, to be kept for 12 to 20 years.

In the glass – Deep garnet robe with violet reflections, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – Aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry mingle with notes of violet and black cherry, lifted by hints of graphite, cedar and gentle spices, such as cinnamon and pepper.
On the palate – A supple and precise attack, fine and ripe tannins enveloping a dense and balanced body, carried by a lively freshness and a long, mineral and spiced finish.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full complexity.
