Clos de la Roche 1989 from Domaine Armand Rousseau, Grand Cru de Bourgogne, draws its minerality from limestone soils. This Pinot Noir, aged in barrels, offers notes of dark fruits and spices. The palate, velvety and fresh, finishes on a chalky note. Perfect through 2030 paired with game.

Tasting notes for Domaine Armand Rousseau Clos de la Roche 1989
To the eye: A garnet robe with brick-red reflections, of a silky density, betraying its age with understated elegance.
On the nose: First notes of candied black cherry and faded violet, then deeper aromas of undergrowth, truffle and a saline touch, like a breath of wind over the limestone slopes.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and precise finish where gentle spices and melted tannins intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to fully release its complexity.
