The Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2019 from Domaine Duroché is a Pinot Noir sourced from the calcareous soils of the Côte de Nuits. This wine, with its notes of cherry and violet, combines minerality and elegance. The palate, silky and taut, promises fine ageing potential through to 2029. Perfect with game and slow-cooked dishes.

A family estate rooted at the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, where the Burgundian heritage is passed down with exacting standards and passion.
- Terroir : Crinoidal limestone and Comblanchien soils, within the prestigious Grand Cru appellations of the Côte de Nuits, shaping wines of rare minerality and elegance.
- Vinification : Traditional methods, precise ageing and respect for the fruit, producing cuvées that express the purity of Pinot Noir and the complexity of the terroir.

Tasting notes for Domaine Duroché Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2019
- In the glass : A deep garnet red colour, of silky texture and mineral brilliance that already hints at the density of the wine.
- On the nose : Aromas of fresh black cherry, delicate violet, then damp undergrowth and gentle spices, lifted by a characteristic saline note of the great calcareous terroirs.
- On the palate : A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long, taut finish where ripe fruits and notes of liquorice intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2019
A vintage marked by optimal ripeness of the grapes, offering wines of rare concentration while preserving remarkable freshness and elegance.
- Ageing potential : Store for 15 to 30 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light, to reveal its full depth over time.
