François Lamarche La Grande Rue 1997, Grand Cru monopole of Vosne-Romanée, is a Pinot Noir aged 18 months in oak barrels. Its aromas of morello cherry and spices are paired with a silky and mineral palate. Ready to drink, it accompanies red meats and aged cheeses with elegance.

Heir to a family expertise rooted in Vosne-Romanée, this estate has upheld the standards of an exceptional terroir for generations.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of Burgundy's Grands Crus, where Pinot Noir expresses its full nobility.
- Winemaking: Respect for the fruit through gentle methods – hand harvesting, controlled vatting and aging in oak barrels for a pure expression of the grape variety.

To the eye: A garnet robe with tawny highlights, of silky density where light dances with discreet elegance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe morello cherry, dried rose and gentle liquorice, lifted by a hint of damp undergrowth and a saline touch evoking the chalky soils of Vosne-Romanée.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a taut minerality, stretching into a long and precise finish where gentle spices and melted tannins intertwine.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
