Latour 1965

Château Latour, an icon of the Médoc, has embodied the excellence of Bordeaux red wines for centuries. This 1965 Latour, Premier Cru Classé, combines Cabernet Sauvignon (90%) and Merlot (10%) to express the quintessence of the Pauillac terroir. The Enclos vineyard, located near the Gironde estuary, rests on gravelly limestone soils and benefits from an ideal oceanic climate. Handcrafted vinification, with fermentation in stainless steel vats and ageing in 100% new barrels, confers exceptional depth. The 1965 vintage, from a well-balanced year, stands out for its finesse and legendary longevity.
