Les Forts de Latour 1973
Les Forts de Latour 1973, sourced from the plots of Pauillac, is a red wine in which Cabernet Sauvignon dominates. Aged in barrels, it reveals notes of dark fruits and a mineral touch. Its silky tannins make it an excellent wine for ageing, ideal with duck breast.

Tasting notes for Château Latour Les Forts de Latour 1973
To the eye: A garnet red robe with tiled highlights, dense and lightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and generous body.
On the nose: First aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and a hint of undergrowth, all lifted by a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a still-present tannic structure, offering a stony minerality and a persistently long finish, where sweet spices and candied dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its expression.
