Château Mouton Rothschild 1980, a Pauillac treasure, embodies the timeless elegance of a legendary Médoc estate, where tradition and innovation merge. This red wine, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, flourishes on a deep gravel terroir, sublimated by the microclimate of the Gironde estuary. Classic vinification, with fermentation in wooden vats and ageing in oak barrels, confers remarkable finesse. The 1980 vintage, influenced by a moderate climate, offers subtle balance and elegant maturity. On tasting, this Mouton Rothschild reveals aromas of black fruits, tobacco and leather, with subtle woody notes. Its silky texture and smooth tannins promise a harmonious finish. Ideal with game or mature cheese, this red wine is a perfect choice for lovers of ripe, refined Bordeaux vintages.
