Nestled in the heart of the Médoc, this legendary estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 14th century, combining family tradition and an exceptional terroir.

- Vinification : A meticulous approach, combining oak barrel ageing and respect for natural cycles, for cuvées that are at once powerful and of remarkable precision.
Tasting notes for Château Latour 1986
To the eye – A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and a generous substance.
On the nose – First aromas of candied blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and a touch of graphite, all underlined by a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate – An ample and velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a tannic framework still present, while nuances of liquorice, leather and undergrowth stretch into a long, chalky finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its expression.
