The Château Latour 2010, from the gravelly soils of Pauillac, is a red wine in which Cabernet Sauvignon (90.5%) dominates. Black fruits, cedar, and spices blend with a silky structure and a mineral freshness. Perfect until 2070, it pairs wonderfully with red meats and game.
Nestled in the heart of Pauillac, this legendary estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since the 14th century, combining family heritage with viticultural precision.
- Terroir : Gravelly and clay soils, bathed by the oceanic influence of the Gironde estuary, sculpt wines of rare minerality and tension.
- Vinification : A rigorous selection of plots from the Enclos and ageing in oak barrels, for cuvées of timeless elegance and a silky structure.
Tasting Notes for Château Latour 2010
- Appearance : A deep ruby-red robe with garnet reflections, dense and luminous, revealing an almost unctuous texture at first sight.
- Nose : A bouquet where aromas of ripe blackcurrant, fresh cedar, blonde tobacco, and liquorice intertwine, underlined by a saline touch and a hint of graphite — the signature of Pauillac's finest terroirs.
- Palate : A precise and vibrant attack, carried by silky tannins and a lively acidity, while notes of blackberry, pencil lead, and soft spices stretch into a finish of mineral length and persistence.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
2010 Vintage
A vintage marked by perfect grape maturity, offering a rare balance between concentration and freshness, typical of the great Bordeaux years.
- Aging Potential : To be kept until 2070 under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity, and away from light).
