Tasting notes for Château Latour Latour 2000
In the glass: A deep garnet robe with tawny reflections, dense and silky, revealing a generous substance and a crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry intertwine with notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and black truffle, underscored by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate: A precise and velvety attack, where the tension of the tannins marries a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, leading to a long and persistent finish marked by soft spices and austere elegance.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its complexity.

A sunny and generous vintage, in which the summer heat concentrated the fruit while preserving a remarkable mineral freshness.
