Château Léoville Barton A family estate rooted in the legendary terroir of Saint-Julien, where the Bordeaux heritage has been passed down for more than two centuries. - Terroir: Gravelly and clay-limestone soils of the Médoc, shaping wines of mineral elegance and rare precision. - Vinification: Tradition and rigor, with aging in oak barrels for a silky structure and long cellaring potential. Tasting Notes for Château Léoville Barton 1990 Eye: A deep garnet red robe with brick-red reflections, revealing a dense and velvety texture. Nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, toasted cedar, blond tobacco and damp undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of licorice. Palate: A silky attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long and harmonious finish where gentle spices and candied dark fruits intertwine.
