The Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Les Fichots 2022 from Domaine Petit-Roy, Pinot Noir on iron-rich clay soils, offers notes of cherry and tea. Aged in used barrels, it captivates with its mineral tension and silky texture. Perfect with meats or cheeses, it can be cellared for 5 to 8 years.
A family estate rooted in Pernand-Vergelesses, where Burgundian heritage blends with a Japanese approach to precision.
- Terroir : Red clay soils, rich in iron, on the steep slopes of the Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru appellation — a mineral signature and persistent freshness.
- Vinification : Whole-cluster harvesting, indigenous yeasts and ageing in used barrels for vibrant, unadorned wines, where the fruit dialogues with the earth.
To the eye – Clear ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and vibrant texture, like fabric stretched against the light.
On the nose – Fresh morello cherry, lightly smoky black tea, a hint of damp earth and a saline edge reminiscent of the subsoil's stones.
On the palate – A lively and precise attack, chalky tannins wrapped in an elegant acidity, a long finish where minerality mingles with notes of tart red fruits.
Serve at 14–16 °C in a Burgundy glass to release its aromas.
A vintage marked by early ripening and preserved freshness, ideal for wines of tension and purity.
- Ageing Potential : To be enjoyed until 2030, stored away from light and sudden temperature variations (12–14 °C).
