From the schist soils of Aubigné-sur-Layon, Les Nourrissons 2012 by Stéphane Bernaudeau is a barrel-aged Chenin Blanc. Ripe white fruits, saline minerality and a tense palate make it a precise and elegant wine. Perfect with seafood or cheeses, it will keep for 5 to 8 years.

A family estate rooted in the schists of Anjou, where Chenin Blanc expresses itself with rare authenticity.
- Terroir: Schist soils in Aubigné-sur-Layon, in the Val de Loire, producing wines of chalky minerality and vibrant tension.
- Vinification: Direct pressing, barrel aging and biodynamic practices to preserve the purity of the fruit and the complexity of the terroir.

Tasting notes for Domaine Stéphane Bernaudeau Les Nourrissons 2012
In the glass: Pale yellow robe with golden highlights, of silky clarity and subtly mineral brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe quince, acacia blossom, citrus honey and flint, lifted by a saline note evoking the schist terroir.
On the palate: Lush and tense texture, driven by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long, saline finish of precise elegance.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2012
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, where the freshness of Chenin Blanc blends with a remarkable aromatic depth.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light and vibrations).
