Tasting notes for Domaine Stéphane Bernaudeau Les Onglés 2016
To the eye: Pale yellow robe with golden highlights, of a silky clarity, like the gleam of a stone polished by time.
On the nose: First notes of Williams pear and hawthorn blossom, followed by a hint of clove and candied lemon zest, before finishing on a subtle iodine salinity.
On the palate: Velvety yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long, saline finish where roasted almonds and acacia honey intertwine.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full precision.
