From the chalky terroirs of Anjou, the Les Onglés 2018 by Stéphane Bernaudeau is a barrel-aged Chenin Blanc. Tasting notes for Stéphane Bernaudeau Les Onglés 2018
In the glass: A pale yellow robe with golden highlights, of a silky clarity and crystalline brilliance that heralds a dense and vibrant wine.
On the nose: Aromas of Williams pear and acacia blossom intertwine with notes of clove and flint, before giving way to a saline touch and a discreet woody imprint, like an echo of the barrels.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, while the texture – at once unctuous and elegant – lingers into a saline and persistent finish, where toasted almonds and acacia honey intertwine.
Serve at 13 °C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by generous ripeness and preserved freshness, offering a perfect balance between aromatic richness and mineral tension.
- Ageing potential: Ready to drink now and through 2030; store in a cool place (12–14 °C) away from light.
