Château Angélus 1985, from the slopes of Saint-Émilion, blends Merlot and Cabernet Franc on clay-limestone soils. Aged in oak barrels, it reveals aromas of black fruits and spices, a silky palate and a mineral finish. To be savoured until 2030 with red meats or truffles.

Tasting notes for Château Angélus 1985
On the eye: a garnet red robe with tawny highlights, dense and slightly veiled, revealing a smooth texture and accomplished maturity.
On the nose: aromas of wild blackberry, grilled cedar and blond tobacco intertwine, lifted by a touch of damp undergrowth and a discreet saline hint.
On the palate: a velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and harmonious finish, where sweet spices and integrated tannins intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
