Tasting notes for Château Angélus 2017 Double Magnum
- Appearance : Deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
- On the nose : Aromas of wild blackberry, black cherry and violet, lifted by notes of liquorice, cedar and a saline touch evoking the damp undergrowth of Saint-Émilion.
- On the palate : Velvety attack, fine and tight tannins, lively acidity balanced by a chalky minerality, long and persistent finish with accents of cocoa and gentle spices.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
