The Gevrey-Chambertin 2021 from Domaine Arlaud, an organic and biodynamic Pinot Noir, reveals notes of red fruits, spices and a chalky minerality. On the palate, silky tannins and a persistent freshness, thanks to aging in oak barrels. Perfect for 5–10 years of cellaring, with game or cheeses.

Tasting notes for Domaine Arlaud Gevrey-Chambertin 2021
In the glass: Deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture that already signals its density.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and fresh raspberry intertwine with notes of violet and liquorice, before a chalky touch underlines the minerality of the terroir.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, where melted tannins envelop a fleshy substance, carried by taut acidity and a saline, long and persistent finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2021
A vintage defined by balance, where freshness and ripeness respond to each other in harmony, yielding a wine that is both approachable and endowed with a fine structure.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) and away from light.
